FRENCH INSTITUTE IN JAPAN
Art direction and illustration for the French Institute in Japan communication.
I developed the concept and key phrase «L'amour parle français» — Love speaks French — around which I built a visual identity rooted in French language expressions.
It unfolds across various formats: a tote-bag distributed throughout several cities in Japan, as well as exclusive designs offered to students.
A recurring character runs through four seasonal programs over the course of the year, each time set against a different French region. Every season comes with a specific color palette,
carefully chosen to reflect the territory it evokes — spring opened in Paris, while summer takes the character into the lavender fields of the South.
