VINTAGE JAPAN

Personal Project.
Enjoy a coffee at a kissaten, relax in the soothing warmth of a sento (Japanese bathhouse),
or wander through narrow alleys and stumble upon a collection of kokeshi dolls (traditional Japanese wooden dolls).

The vermilion red Shuiro (朱色) — the iconic color of the torii gates, sacred portals symbolizing the transition
from the profane to the sacred — brings a vibrant contrast alongside the deep greens of nature.

In Japan, nature holds a special place and guides the senses: gentle rain, subtle tremors, birdsong, and the whisper of the wind.
All these sensations lend themselves perfectly to animation. Motion design by Louis Mallart
